Intel has announced a mobile dual-core CPU called Atom 330 at the latest Intel Developer Forum (IDF) last month.
The Atom 330 is clocked at 1.6 GigaHertz and has 1 MegaByte of Cache. The processor supports hyper-threading in each of its core and will therefore appear as four CPUs in the Windows Task manager. And the processor will just consume a thermal design power of 8 Watts.
The processor will be launched on 21 September, 2008.
