Asus has launched their much awaited netbook, the Eee PC 1000HE offers a long uninterrupted battery life of upto 9 and half hours which makes it a great travel companion.

The Eee PC is powered by Intel's Atom platform and is powered by the N280/N270 processor clocked at 1.66/1.60 GigaHertz. With a power consumption of just 2.5 Watts it offers a long battery life and weighs in at 1.45 Kilograms.

The netbook comes with a 10 inch LED display and includes the new 'n' specification wifi which offers 6 times faster connectivity. It comes in four color choices - Pearl White, Black and Golden. Detailed specifications are listed below.
