Intel is expected to launch is new series Core i7 processors on November 17, 2008. The Nehalem micro-architecture processor were set to launch earlier than this. With different sources stating different dates, the date of launch is still uncertain.

The first three processors that will be launched are codenamed Bloomfield and will feature the new QuickPath technology. It is designed with both the memory controller and cache all on a single die and supports only DDR3 based memory. For more detailed specifications, please enter here
