Intel this week has dropped the prices of some of its CPU by up to 31%. The price cuts are seen in Xeon, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo line of processors.

The price drops are seen in the following CPU's:

Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz - $163 (down from $183)
Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 GHz - $183 (down from $266)
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40 GHz - $193 (down from $224)
Xeon X3220 2.40 GHz - $198 (down from $224)
Xeon X3210 2.13 GHz - $198 (down from $224)
Xeon E3110 3.00 GHz - $167 (down from $188)
