XBox 360 is the new best selling game console

Microsoft's XBox 360 sales figures for US have increased for the last month of July, it has overtaken Nintendo DS sales for the first time in three years. Just two months back Microsoft had redesigned the XBox360 to sport a slim design and include wifi connectivity. The sales for xbox 360 have doubled compared to the same month last year.

The number of units sold in US for the month of July 2010 is as following:

1. XBox 360 - 443,500
2. DS - 398,400
3. Wii - 253,900
4. PS3 - 214,500

Total Worldwide sales is as following:

1. PS2 - 145 million
2. DS - 129 million
3. Wii - 71 million
4. XBox 360 - 42 million
5. PS3 - 38 million
